Afervescence carries out research and expert assignments at the intersection of gender and digital technology, with the French-speaking world and public policy as fields of application. Serving bilateral agencies, international organisations, and European and UN donors.

Modalities

  • Assignments of 20 to 120 expert days, over 1 to 6 months
  • In French or bilingual French-English
  • Remote, with fieldwork where the assignment requires it
  • Teams of one to three experts, assembled for each assignment, CVs submitted with every proposal

  • Scoping against the Terms of Reference (ToR) and inception note
  • Collection: desk review, interviews, data
  • Analysis and drafting of deliverables
  • Presentation of findings, with internal quality review before every submission

Contracting

A simple, verifiable contracting entity.

Assignments are carried out by Afervescence, a société par actions simplifiée incorporated under French law (SIREN 900 617 622, intra-Community VAT FR37900617622), déclaration d'activité de formation enregistrée sous le n° 11951012695 auprès du préfet de la région Île-de-France (cet enregistrement ne vaut pas agrément de l'État) (French training provider registration ; this registration does not constitute State accreditation). Direct B2B contracting. Invoicing in euros, with supporting cost documentation provided in the contracting authority's required format.

Up-to-date tax and social security certificates, professional liability insurance and a references file are provided as part of tender procedures. Data collected during assignments (interviews, surveys) is processed in accordance with the GDPR.

Tania Gombert, President of Afervescence. Vice-President for Partnerships at UN Women France, president of the association Cap Métissage. Twenty-six years in marketing, including thirteen at executive committee level. Author and speaker (TEDx Nantes), active in professional women's networks in France, Africa and the Caribbean, including the Gitex Africa delegations.

For each assignment, Afervescence assembles the appropriate expert team, remains the single accountable contracting party and guarantees the consistency of deliverables.

Audit instruments in production.

The Afervescence Studio develops and operates its own audit instruments: visibility in generative AI answers, comparative positioning, assignment portals for deliverable tracking. This tooling can be deployed across multi-country scopes, with a per-country cost itemised in every financial proposal.
